The launch of all Soyuz rockets has been canceled by Arianespace
As the Russian space agency Roskosmos previously terminated the partnership between Arianespace and Soyuz, the European space company has suspended all rocket launches using Soyuz rockets.
Due to a disagreement with Roskosmos, Arianespace suspended all Soyuz launches.
Private companies can, for example, have their satellites launched by Arianespace, which also uses Russian Soyuz rockets for this purpose. For about 15 years, the company has used Russian rockets to launch rockets into Earth orbit.
According to Arianespace, a Soyuz rocket should have been launched by the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan into space tomorrow, Saturday, to transfer satellites from Oneweb into orbit.
The Russian space agency has issued an ultimatum
According to the "Spacenews" web portal, Dmitri Rogozin, head of Russia's space agency Roskosmos, had issued an ultimatum a short time before the launch.
Oneweb said it would only launch the satellites if provided with written assurances that they will not be used for military purposes. Great Britain agreed to sell its shares in this company, but Oneweb agreed to delay all scheduled launches at Baikonur.
